At the beginning of each speech class I have the students, one at a time, stand against the white board. The other students then come and write nice comments around the students head. The student smiles, I take a picture then erase the comments. I create a video of all the pictures for each class and they watch it before their first speech. Both classes finished the "Speech of Introduction" this past week and these are the videos that gave each student a little self "pick-me-up" before stepping in front of their peers.
