English 11 is currently working on Unit 2 "A Nation is Born" and today we finished reading The Declaration of Independence by Thomas Jefferson. We talks about all the persuasive techniques used and how this was basically a public letter telling the King of Britain to back off, we are our own country now! We then watched this video to help the students visualize the scenario.
